Display pdf in Internetexplorer 8

I have installed a adobe acrobat 5.0 and a adobe reader 9.3 on a windows 7 machine. The internetxplorer 8.0 doesnt open a pdf file in the webbrowser but shows a failure in acrobat 5.0. What can I do so that if i am going to open a pdf in internetexplorer it is opening the file in adobe reader 9.3?

This error may have occurred because you have a previous version of Acrobat installed with Reader 9 (which is not a recommended configuration). Have you tried repairing you Reader 9 installation? Here is a link to additional troubleshooting issues as well:
