Hi Sir,

Can u plz suggest what r the setting should be made in distriller for better output result of transperancy.

Actually, yesterday I was working on one job for 6 colors, process + 2 special, and client had used lots of transparency and drop shadow in that job. The label have one solid patch of special color and top of it other copy matter appears.

After working and distrilling it when I dropped the same pdf in my imposition software (Trueflow) I found that all the places wherever transparency are appearing turns white.

Can u suggest any setting or tips need to take care on working such types of jobs.

I was using Illustrator CS2 and Indesign CS2 for this job.

Thanks

Hannan

In Illustrator and InDesign you have transparency flattening settings. Try to adjust the settings to preserve more vector art and less rasterization.

Try to export your files as PDF/X for prepress and printing.
