Dynamically Update Footer

Hi I'm currently using Acrobat Professional 7.1 and I was wondering if there is a way to dynamically update the footer so it can say something like "Last Revised 02/30/10" or "Last Revised January" or something of that sort. Also the thing is this document is locked but will be unlocked to edit so I don't know if that makes a difference and it has form fields. Thanks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.1.4, Windows

Add a form field to the bottom of the page, in the footer. Then add a script for placing the data into this field. Where the script is placed depends on how you want the date to be updated.

Here's the script:
this.getField("MyDataField").value = util.printd("mm/dd/yy",new Date());
To refresh the date whenever the file is saved place the script in the "WillSave" event.
