edit a set of files

I have a set of .pdf files, each composed of multiple pages.

I would like to add a type message or image to the top of each page in each saved file.

I have been doing this by opening each file and going to each page and adding a type message to it.

Is there a way of doing this more efficiently?

Thanks:)

You can use the "Batch Processing" option included with Acrobat Professional and some JavaScript to add a form field, annotation, or water mark. Search the Learning Center for examples.
