Edit Text Error

Just purchased and downloaded this software from TechSoup's website. I get this message when trying to edit text: No system font available. Was the download incomplete, or is this something I can fix?

Welcome to AUC. Acrobat is a family of products including Acrobat Standard, Professional, 3D, Adobe Reader and then of course there are many different versions for each of those as well. For future reference, including that information is helpful to get a useful answer.

Are you trying to edit a PDF that you did not create/author on your system? A message of No System Font available usually means that the font for the text you are trying to edit does not exist on your system. If you don't have that font on your system, it is not be possible to add new text (your edits) to the document that would be in that same font.
