Editing Images

I have just upgraded to Acrobat 8 Proffessional and when I edit images using the TouchUp Object Tool along with PhotoShop CS2, the image loses it's co-ordinates when saving the enhanced image back to the PDF (Image moves to the bottom of the page in the pdf). This was a noted issue also in Acrobat 7 & Photoshop CS2.

The only way I got around it was to go back to edit images in Photoshop CS.

Does anybody know if there is a fix for this issue yet?

Hi --

I don't have the same experience with Acrobat 8 and Photoshop CS3, so I suspect it was corrected during the upgrade.

Can you not select the image once it's back in Acrobat with the TouchUp Object tool and drag it to the correct location?

Yes, but you are only guessing the postion it was in.

It also adjust the layer positioning, brings it to the top.
