How can I edit a PDF in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended that was sent to me? Is there a tutorial for this?
I would just like to get started for now, but would also like the tutorial.

To view the full population of tools select Tools > Customize Toolbars... The More Tools dialog opens.
The Touchup Text Tool is often used for "touchup edits". (*touchup* is the operative word as PDFs are not word processing files and cannot be edited in the familiar sense of editing in Word, Word Perfect, etc.)
You can use the various tools to identify/record your observations on a PDF. PDF is not a file format that facilitates significant content edit/manipulation. So, providing the these observations to the content author facilitates the actual editing of the PDF's authoring file.
