I just purchased Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard a month ago, and I have converted several word documents to pdf documents. Can I now edit the pdf documents? If I want to change a word or correct a spelling or add a word, can I do it in the new pdf document? If so, how?
Here is a link to a matrix showing the features available in Acrobat Standard, Professional, 3D, and Elements-

The touch-up tools for minor editing of a PDF are not available in Acrobat Standard. Having said that, PDF is really a "Final Format" document and editing is always best done in the original application the document was created with (in your case Word), then create a new PDF.
Hope that helps,
Dimitri
