I would like to enter text fields where users can determine themselves what font to use, size, and color. The only thing I can find outright is the ability to embed one font, one color, one size.

What do I need to do? I design editable graphics and I have a high need for this from my customers to have the freedom to change their font, color, and size to make it completely customizable. I've seen it done once but the lady will not share her knowledge :)

I have tried SEVERAL forums and no one will help. Please, if you can help I would be VERY appreciative.

Acrobat Pro, Windows

You can set a text field to accept "Rich Text Formatting". And then one can use the 'Text Properties" tool bar to modify the text within the field.

I went back into the PDF into the text field properties and selected "allow rich text formatting" but still when i save it then open it up in reader I do not have the option to change the text or color. Is there a text properties tool bar within reader?

My etsy shop (don't have much on there right now) has a couple of templates that I've made for editable PDF for crafting purposes. As you can see, I can only put one font in there. I would like to make my pdfs to where my customers can open my images and choose their own fonts, etc.

My etsy address is http://picklepinkprintables.etsy.com

Thanks ahead of time!

1. Allow the rich text format
2. Enter text into the field
3. Open the Properties tool bar
4. Highlight selected text
5. Use the Properties tool to modify the selected text
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 as needed
.
.
Availability depends upon the version of Reader and Acrobat. The Rich Text field was introduced in version 6.0.

I'm doing that and it is not working.

Here is what I'm doing step by step.

I open Adobe Pro.
Then I open my pdf file that I designed in Photoshop.
From there I use create form.
I add my text field onto my first graphic.
I right click that text field and go to properties.
Then I go to options, then set it to align to center, and then I click "allow rich text formatting".

I do that with every field.

Once its saved I try and open it normally through read as a test, and from there I'm still unable to change the font, etc.
