Editing : removing underlines

We just upgraded to Acrobat 8 Professional, MS Windows XP SP2. I am able to successfully remove text with Tools > Advanced Editing > TouchUp Text Tool in a document but the underlines are still there. I've tried everything but cannot remove them or even grab a hold of them. Any ideas?

Did you try with the Object touchup tool ?

I'm having a similar problem using Acrobat 8 Pro. I want to remove the underline and color from links.

I am able to remove the color by changing the text fill color to black. I can't seem to remove the underline.

Using the ToughUp Object tool, I see the tag is set to "Underline". When I change or delete this tag, the underline formatting is not removed. I don't see any other method of removing the underline.
