Enabling user rights

Hi there!

I'm a Grad student and write research documents using LATEX which produces pdf's. I'd like these pdf's to be annotated using acrobat reader. However, when I open the pdf's on the reader, and go to tools / customize tool bars, it says that the document rights need to be enabled. How do I do this?

Best wishes,

Fran

You need to be able to bring your pdf into Acrobat 8 Professional and then "enable user rights" from that program. LATEX cannot do that.

So, you may need to purchase Acro8 Professional unless someone in your college has it and you can use theirs.

hope this helps.

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
