Enhancing PDF's

Hello,

This is my first post!

I'm interested in changing the way i create PDF's but i am unsure of what piece of software to purchase, to ensure it meets my needs.

Specifically i come from a design background and i want to jazz up my PDF's by incorporating page transitions (like a book), video and interactive animations (i.e. Flash) for my visitors.

What programme would enable me to incorporate the above into my PDF's? Does InDesign do this at all? Any other software recommendations?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Not specifically addressing your question about software; but,
Bob Connolly's book may be a useful resource for what you have in mind.

Thanks anyway but i'm still looking

There is a tutorial that describes how to add Adding a Video to Your PDF File.

Also, you might want to take a peek at the new features of Acrobat 9 because the Flash player is embedded within the program so you can play FLV and SWF files natively. You can find out more detail on PDF Portfolios in Ted Padova's article My top nine favorite new features in Acrobat 9.
