Errant extra letter in PDF from Word doc.

In Acrobat 6, I'm creating a PDF from a Word 2000 doc generated from AuthorIT 4.5.0610. I always get an extra letter "T" at the end of each footer although NONE of my co-workers get the extra letter. The text appears at the end of a field code, { STYLEREF "LegalCharText" \* MERGEFORMAT }. It displays as: "© 2007 XXX Software Group, Inc. All rights reserved. T". The "T" at the end is extra. I've tried updating the field codes in word after publishing the Word doc before running the PDF and it didn't help. Has anyone come across this or something like this? AuthorIT says it's Acrobat, not AIT.

Make sure you're running the latest version of Acrobat 6:

1. Click Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings.2. UncheckEnable Accessibility And Reflow With Tagged PDF and click OK.

3. Click Adobe PDF > Convert to Adobe PDF.

Thanks very much. Unchecking that option resolved my issue and made my new year. Best to you!!!
