Error message

I am trying to batch process a group of files and I keep getting an error message that the resulting file could not be saved.

The exact error message is:

An error was encountered while initializing the setting. Please check if it is valid.

Anyone know how to fix this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

I am not sure what your question means. When I tried to create a new setting it would not allow me to save those settings, regardless of what I called it.

I noticed, however, that if I use one of the already existing batch sequences (instead of trying to create a new one) it allows me to do so and that works fine.

New Sequences are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\8.0\Sequences

Do you have any problems accessing this directory?
