ESC key questions

I created an interactive media kit with custom menus etc., and I have it programmed to open in full screen. Then to exit full screen you hit the ESC screen, and then that closes full screen but still leaves acrobat reader (or 9 pro) open.

My question is: Is there a way to program the ESC key so it will exit out of the full screen AND exit out of acrobat all in one action? maybe a javascript command?
