How does one extract pages from a PDF/A document? Extract is greyed out for me (Version 9).

Thanks for the help.

You can't extract pages from this type of PDF. You need to convert it first to a regular PDF.

I did that, but it still opens with "you are viewing this in PDF/A" and extracting pages is still greyed out. Any other ideas?

Try turning off Edit > Preferences > Documents category "View documents in PDF/A mode" never. Or, if you have the Pro. version of Acrobat you can use the Preflight tool to remove the PDF/A information from the file.
