Faint line left after printing redacted pages

I've received a PDF which has an unwanted fax header on each page.

After redacting that header (with white as the redaction color), the page looks nice and clean on the screen. However, when I print the PDF. each page shows a faint box where I applied the redaction.

Can I make this go away? I'm using Acrobat 8.0 Professional.

Instead of using white as the redaction color try using No fill as the color.
