"Field Tags appear on printed PDF document

We have made a pdf document interactive with text fields, how do I turn off the field identifier when we print the document. The field tag also appears on the monitor if you are viewing. Any suggestions on how to make that option hidden but still workable? Thanks.

You must have used LiveCycle Designer, since this has a 2 types of text fields, "static text" and "text". "Static text" fields have a "caption" while "text" fields do not. It is possible to use the "prePrint" application action to clear the "caption.value.#text" of the "static text" fields.
