I have had to delete and add pages to an existing PDF and also have made a few small text changes. The files size went from 876 KB to 8.2 MB. I have tried "Reduce File Size" to no great effect. Is there anything I can do?
My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6.0.5, Macintosh
It's possible that the content you added to the file was very large. I would first suggest that you check out what is in the document first using the PDF Optimizer in Acrobat Pro. (Advanced --> PDF Optimizer). Cick the button in the upper right corner to "Audit space usage ..." this should tell you what is taking up the greatest amount of space. From there, you can use the other panel mneu commands to reduce your file size. Just remember to make a backup of your file before applying any changes.Hope this helps, Lori
