Hello Experts

I want to find all non-searchable PDFs. Then I want to make all of those searchable.

Questions:

1) What is the best way to find ALL non-searchable PDFs on a disk or in a folder?

2) After these have all been identified, what is the best way to bulk process them to become searchable?

Thanks!

An Acrobat Preflight Profile can be created that will provide a report that can identify if a PDF, containing a scanned image of text has hidden text (OCR output).
Those PDFs identified as not having hidden text can have OCR applied.
An Acrobat Pro Batch Sequence can be used to OCR the identified PDFs.

Leonard also detailed how to do this in his Tech Talk last week titled Hidden Gems in Preflight.
