In all versions up to 8 there was a T+ tool located under. Has this tool been eliminated? IS there another tool that replaces it. Can I just no find it?

Thank You for responding so quickly

After some searching I found the tool in version 7 "Text Box Tool"

The symbol was changed from T+ to 3 lines in version 8. It is still called the Text Box Tool. However in version 7 you have the ability to change the font type and size.

I can not see anyway to modify the fonts size or font family.

Hi jturpin,

When you select the Text Box you've created, you should see the text box properties menu (ctrl+e) on the toolbar. However, when your cursor is inside the text box then the text box properties menu change and you can modify the font, color, alignment, etc. What you see in the text box properties menu changes depending on where your cursor is.

Hope this helps,
Lori
