Hi All,

Hope i can get the answer from the great community. My requirement is as follows

-I have a requirement to compare two PDF documents for which we we are going to use exccel macro (VBA), jso object and Acrobat Professional.
-It should compare both the PDF files and hilight the differences.
-File one may contain 150 lines and File2 may conatine 200 lines, irrespective of lines the comparision logic should work.

Please help me it is very urgent.

If you want to compare text based PDF's you might want to contact Workshare and request information on the Workshare Professonal product. You can compare text based PDF's and get a comparison report of the changes. If the PDF's are image based PDF's then that changes things. You would have to OCR the image based PDF's and you can also get comparisons. This method is never an exact science.

How many users would be using the software? How many documents do you compare on average? Do you create the PDF's in house or do they come from outside sources?
