Highlighting Cut & Paste

Does anyone know if there is a way to copy multiple highlighting annotation in the same way that you can do with 'MarkUps'?

I often get re-issued copies of previous documents and have to laboriously re-highlight all text of interest, even when text / paragraph content is IDENTICAL and has just been moved to a different page!

This process is infuriating and an EXTREME waste of time. It would be so much better if I could select a group / multiple highlights and then Cut & Paste them. This is, of course, posssible with the 'rectangle' command but unless I am mistaken NOT possible with highlighting.

If the program is NOT capable, how do I convince Adobe to introduce this in the future?

Thanks, in advance

Al

Have you tried using the Import/Export comment capability to move your comments between documents? You might get some orphans that you'll need to re-attach but it will probably be quicker.
