Acrobat 8 Pro, Windows XP....I don't have a clue how to do this and I have spent to much time trying to figure it out already.

I have a line of text and I need to add a small word is brackets above one of the last words in the sentence in an area that is completely blank and available.

I would think this would be simple, but quite frankly I am lost in version 8

Thank you

Try this:

In Acrobat, Select Tools > Advanced Editing .Press Ctrl + and Touch up Text together.

That should bring up a little box where you can select your font, enter your text; and select type size and color (fill) Highlight the text you type then right click and you should be able to select point size and color.

Click out of the box when done.

Now, select Tools > advanced editing > Touch up object tool and you can "grab" the box and move it around.Do a search on these tool names in Adobe help for more info....

Hope this helps!!

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
