Hi All

I am creating a .NET web application where in I am converting the .tiff files to .pdf using iTextSharp. I need to do the OCR to this pdf so that I can copy paste the text from these pdfs. So I am manually opening the Adobe Acrobat 9 and selecting the individual pdf file or the complete folder that contains the pdf files to OCR the pdf documents.

I want to know if there is a way to call the OCR functionality of Adobe Acrobat 9 from .NET.

Also I have heard about the Adobe LiveCycle tool that can be used to OCR the PDF documents. Can this tool be used to programatically call the OCR funcationality.?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
