I am creating a flyer which will need to have a section that the end user can change the copy in.

Visualize this, a poster with a photo and headline created in InDesign, then saved as a PDF.
I open the PDF in Acrobat Pro Version 9 and then need to create an editable text box...

The end user will get the PDF and need to revise the copy for time, location and date etc.

I have used the type writer tool, and that does not work, not editable,
I have used the text box tool but that is note editable as well...

Please Help!

Thanks

Hi Tim_O,

Just a question.
Before sending the PDF out did you use Acrobat Pro to "Reader Enable" the PDF?
(with PDF open - Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader ~ for Acrobat Pro 9)
or
( Advanced > Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader ~ Acrobat Pro 8)What Acrobat Pro 9 provides when "Extend Features ..." is used:
--| save form data (for fillable PDF form only)
--| commenting and drawing mark-up tools
--| sign an existing signature field
--| digitally sign the document anywhere on th page (not available for XML forms, only supported in Adobe Reader 8.0 or later)

Be well...

Be well...
