how to disable annoying window

Hello, I'm using Reader 8 and whenever I scroll I get an annoying little window with a black frame which displays the current page number in the upper right of my page. It's big enough to block some of the text. It has a close x on it which I keep clicking to close it but it keeps coming back. I want to disable it from displaying for good. How to do this? Thanks

The Page Display window appears when you use the "Single Page" Page Display mode. Try changing to "Single Page Continuous" to get rid of the page dialog window.
