Everytime i try to do this, acrobat reader simply refuses to do so and will only open a maximum of one copy.

How do i open TWO copies, of the SAME PDF so i can easily refer to both?

My Product Information:
Reader 10.0, Windows

No application can do this. If they do, it's by creating a temporary copy of the file somewhere.

In Adobe Reader you can't open the same file twice, but in Adobe Acrobat you can activate Split View, which displays independent views of the same file in up to four panels.

Reader does not have split screen mode.

With Acrobat can split the screen into 2 panes or 4 panes in the spreadsheet split.
