Have files I need to fill out that are in pdf format and need them into a word document. If I copy and paste them into a word file, they aren't formatted correctly

Try Save As to *.rtf or Export to Rich Text Format.
Open the RTF file with MS Word.

Unless the PDF was created to be a well-formed, tagged output PDF there will be some loss of formatting.
How much generally depends on were the document content is on the simple to complex scale.
Remember, PDF is not a word processing format.

Using PDF-to-Word conversion technology, you can quickly and easily create editable DOC/RTF files, making it a cinch to re-use PDF content in applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, OpenOffice, and WordPerfect.
Best of all, it's entirely free!

There are many free PDF to Word converter and free conversion websites available online. The useful article 'How to convert PDF to Doc rapidly and economically' is presenting such tools. But considering the conversion quality and convenience, I prefer to Adreamsoft PDF to Word Converter as it supports encrypted files and batch conversion. All the elements and layout are well preserved so that the conversion quality is pretty nice. You can have a try and hope it can do you some favor.
Thank for your info, I search and choose FreePDFConvert.com. It is good
