How to find coordinate content from pdf document

In fact i need this: after user selects text (or rectangular part of
pdf documents content) i have to be able to get page number and
coordinates of that rectangular and content.(i need the pdf coordinate not mouse coordinate) Is it possible using IAC or it must
be done via plug-in? I was reading IAC documentation and i coudn't
find any usefull method for achieving this.. Any help? Thanks..

It can only be done via a plugin.
