How to navigate "sideways", ONE PAGE at a time on 2-page view.

Frequently in a PDF document such as a technical datasheet, an article starts on a even page and it continues in the next odd page. For example a procedure may start on page 6, and its corresponding diagram is on page 7. The problem is that in 2-page view, I can view pages 5-6, and pages 7-8, but I haven't figured a way to display pages 6-7. Can this be done on Acrobat Pro 8, or even in plain Reader?
Better yet, is there a "sideways scroll" mode similar to vertical continuous scroll?

A similar question was posted on 2007-10-02 but was never answered. These days, with extra wide LCD panels, sideways scrolling HAS to be featured, even in basic Reader, right?

Unfortunately horizontal scrolling isn't possible. You can select 2-Up Continuous and this will at least allow you to see pages 6-7 if you zoom out to see more pages. You can scroll down to the next pages using the Hand tool.
