How would you create this workflow?

hello community

My first time on these boards. Greetings.

I have a regular newsletter that is sent out as a pdf email. The doc is about 20 pages long with hyperlinked contents, and other interactive elements.

The problem is that the newsletter need to be branded with fifty different company masthead that go on the top of page one.

The result is fifty newsletters that get sent out to different companies that then pass them on to their clients. Each file is named for the company.

I have created a workflow that is (in my opinion) quite cumbersome and won't be too easy to pass on to my successor. Any thoughts?

Thanks

acrobat can use a database to populate the headers and other variables. I would do some reading on it. Kinda like a mailmerge in Word. You have an excel database that stores the variables and the image locations. You then process the data and end up with 50 or 5000 individual files.

I know you can do this, but I just have not spent the time to learn. Neccessity is the mother of all learning.. etc. etc.

Thanks daxastro. I'll look into it. It sounds promising. Is there any version in particluar that this ability was introduced?
