Not sure if this is an Acrobat problem, or a MS Word problem, since I have new versions of both.
I have a Word file with multiple hyperlinks to other pdf files. The hyperlinks are relative, for example ../forms/ADM3.pdf .
When I save as PDF, there are several problems:
1) The links are all 'open web link' instead of 'open a file'. So - they open a browser window instead of opening the file.
2) In Acrobat, if I select the link tool and try to edit the link, the link properties box won't open
I'm using Word 2010, Acrobat Pro 9 and Windows 7.
Any thoughts?
It is PDFMaker (provided with install of Acrobat)that passes through the "interactivity" of links to the output PDF. For MS Word 2010 (32-bit only) Acrobat X is required.
.
An alternative could be the use of Office 2010 applications' Save As PDF --- feature.
