hyperlinking to a pdf page

I read your response to another person about how to hyperlink directly to a pdf page. I've tried every different combinations but it refuses to do anything except open the first page. This pdf file resides on our network, not on a web page as your example gave. I'm trying to link from an Excel file.

Thanks in advance..

Have you tried created a Named Destination in the target file, and then linking to that? See the Acrobat Help file on how to do this.

It sounds like you are trying to use web protocols to access a file that isn't being served up by a web server.
