I cannot re-size a hyperlink narrower than about an inch or so. Grabbing the handles when in the Link Tool will jump the width to a wider size and will not adjust smaller.
Acrobat version? If using Acrobat 8 Pro, you may want to wait for the preannounced upgrade to Acrobat by Adobe Systems. This problem seems to have been reported by several users.
