I'm making an instruction sheet from a pdf file. I need to copy part of a page. I will be adding instructions with text boxes, clouds etc. How do I copy and paste and create a new pdf file.

Edit:
I tried using the selection tool. I can select but I can't copy. I also tried edit and the copy and paste are grayed out.

Edit:
I just noticed it's a secured document. I tried to open in Photoshop and it asked for a password. Could this be the reason I can't copy and paste.

Acrobat pro X

thanks
Mike

Here is what I have done. I scanned the two pages that I want. I than crop the part of the pdf file I wanted in Photoshop and saved as a pdf. If anybody has a better idea would you please let me know. I now will be adding sticky or text box.

Here is what I did. I saved the pdf file as a jpeg. I than inserted in word as a picture. I used text boxes and auto shapes to get what I wanted. By doing this you are able to change font, color, box color etc.

I have a 16 Page PDF document that I want to edit heavily. Is there any way to copy this to Word where I can edit freely?

I usually don't get very good results when I open a pdf file and save to word. You can also try a I.R.I.S program you might be able to convert in that. Another option is if you have a scanner, maybe your scanner can save as a word document. I don't get very good results. It all depends upon the type of print and if there are any graphics.
