Hi everyone,

I need to edit a file in PDF with Adobe Illustrator CS32 12.0.

But when I opened the file, Adobe Illustrator popped up a warning as below, and two images fail to be displayed properly and the file contained many unreadable codes.

[The font Arial is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font.
The font Arial,Bold is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font.
The font Arial,BoldItalic is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font.
The font TimesNewRoman is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font.
The font TimesNewRoman,BoldItalic is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font.]

Does the warning refer to my PC lacks of the fonts or Illustrator lacks the fonts? I use another software and I can read the file explcitly.

Could you suggest how I deal with my problems? Eg. Should I import the fonts into Illustrator? How to do it?

It is urgent. I look forward to your kind help. Many thanks!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.0, Windows

Those warnings mean that you need to install those fonts in your computer. You currently do not have the fonts: Arial, Arial Bold, italic and times roman and bold italic in your system.

Close illustrator, Install the fonts in your computer, then re-open the pdf file and the warnings should be gone.
