Importing a button icon in Adobe Reader

I have a document with a button which when clicked will open a dialog to allow users to import an image. I am using the following script to do this.

//event.target.buttonImportIcon();

Works great in Acrobat Professional but not in Reader even if the document is reader enabled.

Is this just not going to be possible or is there something else I need to do.
