I have a group of files I want to bring together into one pdf file. These files all have extensive keyword and other metadata. How do I have acrobat include this metadata with each file? I will need to search by this metadata.
You can assemble files in a PDF Package and embed an index in the package and search that index. PDF Package files retain metadata from all the added files. As far as I know, if you combine files into a single PDF document, the metadata is taken from the first file in the combined document and metadata from the added files are lost.
