I´m not sure if this thread is treated in any other topic, but I use this one to say hello to the community too. I´m an spanish designer from Madrid and I´ve been trying to create books for an institutional client with e-version.
My main program is InDesign and then, I use the Table of Contents por this purpose and it works fine.
The matter is that if we have a large book (500 pages or more) I must cut it in different pages wich I link with acrobat 8 but no index is mantained. Any way to do that?
Thanks to all of you, fellows

Saludos Juanma,

You might try creating the single page TOC as a PDF file then add links or buttons to open the remaining sections. Unfortunately, you can't automate the process in Acrobat.

Thanks tedapova. That´s what I´m been doing, with links for a isolated summary which links to sections as different pdfs linked. The matter is the left navigation index. I´ll keep trying and if I find a response, I´ll share.
Thanks to all!
