Installing latest Reader onto a CD for customers...

Hi all:
I create multimedia Video-Cds for my company's marketing efforts. I was using Acrobat Reader 5.0 that I imbedded in the V-CDs to open some .pdf papers like technical flyers, state approval letters, etc.

I am now having to update the CD creation software [ AutoPlay Media Studio 7.5 ] so my project output will now be able to auto-run in a Vista OS computer. I need to get an updated version of Acrobat Reader that I can place onto the V-CD that will also open up the .pdf files in Vista. The creation software gives no advice on updating the Reader for Vista.

Adobe used to have a special downloadable Reader for just this "burn it onto a CD" setup; however, I see no such program download now.

Questions:
1) Will the downloaded Acrobat Reader 9.0 on the Adobe site now be able to be "containable" so I can put all its files into a file that I then can place into the VCD project file to be burned onto the CD?

[The AMStudio software allows me to script the opening of the current Reader 5.0 folder so Reader can open up and then open the .pdf files for viewing and I will be able to do the same for the 9.0 version]

-- I know that many times when you download software, files go "all over the place" in your computers, esp those ".dll" files and such.

2) If I have to download the "regular" Reader update that's on Adobe's page; how can I get all the files lined up to place onto my V-CDs? I am a little reticent about going ahead and downloading the latest Reader in case it doesnt work [getting all into a folder I can then place in the projects] and then it deletes the program that does work now [Rdr 5.0], even if its not working in Vista.

I'm a tad freaked out on this; no one in our office has a Vista-OS computer and I just happened to give ia V-CD to a friend of mine to check on their Vista laptop and nothing was even detectable; so I know I have to update every program on that VCD - and trade show season is upon me! Yikes!

I appreciate all the help I can get on this... :)

Thanks in advance...

You'll need to submit the distribution agreement form, details here:-

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/distribute.php

before you're able to work with the distribution packages. Info on downloading them arrives once the agreement's accepted.
