Ever since updating to Reader 9.1 any PDF file from my wife's employer will not open, but gives the message, "Insufficient data for an image." Some of my wife's co-workers have complained of the same problem. We all think it's a problem with how the files are being generated by the employer but, when brought to the attention of the office, were told it is a problem with the workers' individual home computers and not the files created by the employer. The files will not open in other PDF readers either (at least not on our computers - I don't know if co-workers have tried other readers). Any suggestions or third party corroboration we can bring to the employer stating that it is their file generation that needs to be rectified to be compatible with the latest Adobe Reader version(s)?
