jump to a bookmarked paragraph

Is it possible to jump from a bookmark (created with Adobe Pro 9) to the paragraph that has been bookmarked?

I only manage Adobe to jump to the page where the paragraph is and zoom on it but I need something that specifically highlights or points to the bookmarked paragraph.

If it is not possible, is there any other function (not bookmarking) that can do that?

Thanks

Something that may help; try:

Using Acrobat, create a named destination at the desired paragraph.
Then create the bookmark. Access the bookmark's propeties.
Select the Actions tab.
Click on the Edit button.
In the dialog presented, select Use Named Destination.
Click on Browse.
In the dialog presented, select the desired destination.
Click OK, OK, OK - then Save As.

Be well...

Thank you for your answer.

I have followed your suggestion but it seems to me that the destination function does the same as the bookmark: it jumps to the page but it does not help the reader to identify the paragraph within the page.

I need the paragraph to be highlighted or marked because I am analyzing legal texts and I have many bookmark terms that point to several paragraphs in each text.

I have tried to associate a layer to the bookmark but, to my understanding, the layer is created only for one page of the document at a time and therefore it does not work for multiple page documents.

Thanks

set zoom to 'fit width'; set page layout 'continuous'; scroll the target line at desire position relative to frame (perhaps just below the top); create the bookmark. The user will need to set page layout 'continuous'. If the target line is close to bottom of page, there are additional factors to make this work. If you are staying within one document, you dont need to mess with 'named destinations'. You may want to talk with me to get this right. Send a message via the forum.
