Hi,

I am having typical issue Pdf document doesn’t show all characters in Japanese language
Few characters show as Junk. My OS is windows 7 and Adobe Reader ver. 9 with Japanese - FontPack90_ja_JP.
Uninstalled ver.9 , installed ver.8 with Japanese font - FontPack810_ja_JP still same issue.

What I observed is, I logged in to XP machine and Internal Terminal server it’s working fine.
2 of us have Windows7 we both having this issue, could you please help me on this what I am missing.

Even non-Unicode Programs option is activated in regional settings.

Would it be possible to upload an example PDF that includes some of these junk characters, so we can test it? You can't add attachments to your forum posts, but if you put the PDF online (e.g. using http://www.acrobat.com/ ) you can post a link to it.

Also, are the junk characters always the same, and does using a different font change what happens? We're trying to work out if it's an issue with Acrobat, Windows or the particular font file.

I tried to paste correct and incorrect characters, how it looks. But i couldn't.
while i paste shows characters as rectangle boxes.
