Keyboard shortcuts disabled for Document Properties?

I recently acquired Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional, and I'm having an unusual problem. Since I insert a lot of bookmarks into my documents, in the past I've always pressed Ctrl-D to bring up the Document Properties, clicked the tab for "Initial View," tabbed into the "Navigation tab" field to instruct each document to automatically open the "Bookmarks Panel and Page," and then pressed Enter instead of pressing the OK button to apply those changes.

That worked just fine in previous versions of Acrobat, but when I do it now, the "Initial View" I've setup is never saved with any of those documents . . . unless I take the trouble to click each and every dropdown menu to perform that same routine.

Has anybody else had that problem with Acrobat 9 Professional?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.0, Windows

It's a long shot, but is Restore last view settings when reopening documents in the Documents Prefs unchecked?

The "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" does remain unchecked.

Do your keyboard shortcuts work for you when setting your Initial Page View? Curiously, all my other keyboard shortcuts weren't affected by this upgrade.

Well, it's official . . . Acrobat 9.0 has a bug in it!

You can no longer press Ctrl-D, Alt-N, the letter B, and then press "Enter" to set your "Initial View" to "Bookmarks Panel and Page." If you upgraded to version 9.0, you now have to click on every single dropdown menu to set it before you save it.

Hopefully, Adobe will offer a patch.

Hello Felidae,

Have you tried creating a "Batch Sequence" to set the open options. It's very useful for multiple documents and quicker than manually with the keyboard (once you set it up).
