Hi,

Have Adobe Acrobat Reader 10.1.0

Have a PDF that does not open at the last page I was reading. It opens at page 1. The other PDF's open at the last page I was reading.

Is this a setting in the Reader, or a setting in the PDF?

Thanks,
SHD

Both - if you have Preferences > Documents > Restore last view settings ticked in Reader, it will open to the last-seen page *provided* the document doesn't override that decision. The document can either set an initial view (via document properties) or use JavaScript to move to a particular page. In Reader you can't do anything about that, sorry.

I see.

Well, that check-box is check. The PDF author must be forcing it, for some unknown reason.

Thank you very much for educating me.

Kindest Regards,
