does anybody know where i can get a free book or something that tells me how to learn adobe pro 8? i have it at work and i have no clue on how to use it. please help. thanks.

Watch the video tutorials and read the articles on this web site. Much of what you'll see is for Acrobat 9, since that's the latest version. However, the difference between 8 and 9 is incremental. Most of the material will be the same for both versions.

You can also get Ted Padova's Acrobat 8 Bible. Since he's already come out with the Acrobat 9 Bible the previous book should be heavily discounted at your local technical bookstore and on Amazon.

Also try the search string "acrobat 8 tutorial site:adobe.com" with Google.

Adobe provides a rather large universe of documentation, videos, blogs, etc.
