If we have multiple clients accessing a PDF form (created using a licensed copy of Adobe LiveCycle and Acrobat Professional 8) for a sales quote process (clients fill in for which product they're requesting pricing) are there any kind of legal restriction(s) under our licensing agreement? After completing the form, it is returned to us as an e-mail attachment (we're not using any Adobe server extensions).
The only reason we're using Acrobat 8 is to enable usage rights so the client can save the completed form as a local copy on their computer. Just as a point of interest, does the ability to enable usage rights to save a local copy of a form exist in Acrobat Professional 7?
Duff Johnson posted the full End User License Agreement for Acrobat 8 Professional on his Blog-

In a nutshell, a Reader Rights Enabled form can be distributed to an undefined number of people (public use) but can only be Saved 500 times without breaking the EULA. OR, you can have a defined group of no more than 500 people who can use the form and save it as many times as they need to (multiple fill/saves of the same form per person in the group). Make sure to read the EULA- I'm not a lawyer and that is only my take on the EULA as I read it.
Acrobat 8 Professional is the only version with Save Rights Enabling capability. Acrobat 7 Pro has some Rights Enabling but only for Comment and Review features.
Hope that helps,
