Letters are not sharp

Hello, I use standard Adobe Reader 7.0.9 for reading PDF files, but letters of PDF text on my LCD screen appear not sharp, even I set they bigger (however, for example, when I am reading in MS Word DOC files text, it is everything OK - letters are sharp). Is there a problem with my LCD screen settings? Or with PDF fonts? If so, how to find them and how to change? Thanks, Saulius

You have options for smoothing text in the Page Display Preferences. Open the Preferences (Ctrl/Command + K) and click Page Display in the left pane. Look at the Rendering options in the right pane and change some settings to optimize viewing on your LCD laptop.
