I have large PDF files (manuals) (29 Mb) which take too long to open from a browser (Intranet). To improve access speed. like to split up each manual in sections (PDF files) and combine / assemble these into a PDF Package and link to and open each section without opening the whole manual (Package) first. Each section has many destinations. Destinations are unique in the manual / package. I have been able to link to any destination in the first section, but not in the following sections. Please advice how I can link to any section and its destinations. Syntax used: http://knowledge.fdnet.com/fluorkm/construct/filtered.nsf/0/65511b0a35cd348b882574030001ef45/$File/PPM%20PEP%20Package2.pdf#s17
Does the first section include the interface from which you are linking? In order to maintain the destinations, use the Go to Page in Another Document action. Acrobat reads the specified file, and you can choose the defined destinations listed.
